DISCOVER MY REGION - INTERACTIVE MAP
Learning outcomes : This sequence can be prepared by hosting students before the physical mobility of a welcoming group. Welcoming students could reinforce their language and cultural skills. They will give an overview to the welcoming group of the town (i.e.: nightlife and leisure, restaurants, cultural things to visit, important information …). This will prepare foreign students before coming (promoting envy) and help them during the stay. It’s also a good point for hosting organization as this tool can be updated and used for any welcoming group. Final output : Be able to use my vocabulary to create a motivating image of their region and help future exchange students to get orientation in the town before and during the stay. They will use ITC in order to create the map. Number of connected class : 1 / 2 Language : the map will be in English - Synchronous sessions : in English
Tools needed : Internet connection, smartphone, computer and blackboard
Context : The sequence can be adapted according to the skills of the apprentices, his English level, the availabilities of the apprentices and the teacher |
