SOMEX APP How do an APP can help me in my mobility process / before / during / after?
Thematic: collaborative activity Main aim: prepare its physical mobility by using ICTs / digital technologies Language: Target audience’s level: first year of master crafts person training or last year of apprenticeship English level: A2 Professional sector: construction / carpentry Pre-requisite: English vocabulary acquired during their preparation training (basic vocabulary about life, hobbies, leisure activities, how to move in a city, orientation, public transports / knowledge of the region Tools needed: Internet connection, smartphone / tablet, computer and blackboard Characteristics of the sequence: The sequence can be adapted according to the destination the apprentices are going to. Function: Students could reinforce their language and cultural skills. They will have an overview of the town (i.e.: nightlife and leisure, restaurants, cultural things to visit, important information …). This will prepare students before going (promoting envy) and help them during the stay. It’s also a good point for hosting / sending organizations as this tool can be updated and used for any group / destination. Remark : Video conference with exchange trainees before their mobility could be added |
